Tech Deep Instructor course is designed to let candidates teach courses Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50 in efficient and safe manner. Course included basic training and additionally assisting during course. It may be provided in two options: for already certified tech divers in DSAT or another training organization or in conjunction both instructor and student level combined into one integrated program.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites allows tec instructor candidates taking tech instructor development course just after recreational instructor course and exam IDC/IE program (there is few additional requirements) Fulfilling prerequisites is just enough to start tec instructor training, however there is more “post-requisites” to be fulfilled at anytime before getting certified. There are collected in the next paragraph.

• Renewed PADI OWSI or higher
• PADI EAN Instructor (Nitrox) or have successfully completed PADI EAN training course
• PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor or have successfully completed PADI Deep Diver Specialty training course
• Have a minimum of 100 logged dives with additional requirements according depth and at least 20 logged nitrox dives
• DAN insurance or another technical diving covering policy
• Medical statement approved by physician Note. Participation in the course does not equal being certified. Tuition fee does not guarantee getting instructor certificate, it is only fee of being instructed.

As an instructor candidate you will be evaluated by instructor trainer during the whole course also in:

• Evaluation of diving knowledge, especially perfect buoyancy skills
• Assessment of candidate attitude especially wary as a tech diver

Non-performance of any performance requirements will result lack of certification and is such a case is not a reason to any financial refunds.

Post Requisites:
Requirements indicated below are necessary to be certified as PADI/DSAT Tec Rec Deep Instructor:

• Completed instructor training provided by PADI/DSAT Tech Instructor Trainer
• Renewed MSDT Instructor Certificate or higher
• PADI EAN Instructor
• PADI Deep Specialty Instructor
• Have assisted at least one Tec 45 or Tec 50 course
• Have at least 270 logged dives including at least 20 stage decompression dives
• Have certified at least 10 students as PADI EANx or PADI Deep Specialty

Minimum age: 18 years.

Course structure: Knowledge development sessions, practical applications, exams, five dives up to max 50 meters with air and side gas enriched air up to 100% oxygen. Combined student-instructor course include minimum 16 dives

Duration:
For certified tech divers 3-4 days + assist
For non-certified before tech divers 8-10 days + assist

Course post qualifications: As a Tech Deep Instructor you will be qualified to teach Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50 courses allow students to make a dives to max depth 50 meters and use two decompression gases with up to 100% of oxygen to accelerate or add conservatism to the decompression.

For non-certified before tech divers 1000 Euro (price includes integrated student and instructor level training)
Price includes transfer from/to hotel (Chalong, Kata, Karon beach), tuition fee; in-water training, lunch, equipment rental, gases.
Price excludes manual and student certification fee (about 160 Euro) , instructor certification fee (depending n local PADI office - about 80 Eur), boat, gases and equipment rental for assisting required course (about 200 Eur)
